It depends on how big you want your solar system. Most solar systems require supplementation from the grid i.e. Eskom (such as during night time). While you can go completely off the grid, it requires a large system with many batteries to cater for a few days of minimal solar power production.

Different components have different life spans, ranging from 5 years to 20 years. Some components need to be replaced after a number of years, while others may just need to be supplemented. Provided there are no major repairs or damage, your system should last comfortably for 10-15 years.

Yes, if you move locations, you can take your solar system with you. We offer a relocation package based on the size of your system.

As the owner, you are primarily responsible for maintenance. Maintenance packages are available for purchase. This includes cleaning the solar panels, servicing the inverter, inspecting the entire solar system and providing a report-back on the efficiency of the system. We recommend servicing your solar system every six months.

Yes. The invertors we supply have an interactive screen or make use of an app, or have both a screen and app feature.

Yes. We understand that the data from the screen and/or app feature might be confusing, which is why we offer free after sales support.

If lightening strikes your solar panels it may blow a fuse and no major damage should be caused. You will only need to replace your fuse (small component) which costs around R50. We offer call-out visits at R850 plus VAT to help you repair or replace your components.
